PRIMARY PURPOSE

The primary purpose of this position is to set up and operate Mazak Integrex 50 with Mazatrol T Plus control. Operator must be able to program, set up, and operate these machines, one with steady rest, one without. Hold close tolerances on complicated parts. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP

This position is under the supervision of the department supervisor, who reports to the V.P. of manufacturing. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Result Area #1 This position requires a highly skilled machinist/operator. Working 48 hours is necessary at times.

HUMAN RELATIONS

Colonial Tool is friendly unionized shop. All employees are expected to work well with others.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

Operator must obtain the necessary skills to start with the print, program the tool, engineering assistance is available when required, machine the part to specifications leaving grinding stock where required.

ACCOUNTABILITY

• Manufactures or processes within a manufacturing department, tools or components meeting quality and cost targets with a minimum of scrap and repair. • Maintains production schedules within the Department. • Assures preventive maintenance and cleanliness of machines and equipment within the Department.
